The most common form of cold application is currently the local or selective cold application using cold packs, ice spray or similar aids. However, applications in a cold chamber or ice cabin are also increasingly used as a more pleasant alternative to ice baths.
Research in the field of cryotherapy applications

Even though the effect of cold on pain, swelling and other complaints has been known for a long time, there is currently only little verifiable research on the application of cold to the whole body.
However, since research in this field is an important basis for serious application in a cold chamber and the research results are relevant for statements about the effect of cold therapy, RemediCool has made it its mission to advance research in this area.
For some time now, RemediCool has been conducting application observations in the Research Cold Studio in Cologne, Germany, on various fields of application. These observational studies are accompanied by doctors, professors, psychologists and other experts in the respective application area.
